Halloweening in a Hurry? Join the club. At present my boyfriend Tim and I are still debating on what to dress up as. We were thinking of tag-teaming as “balloon boy” with him as Falcon and I as the balloon. But then Gawker told us we’d be super lame.

With the holiday right around the corner I don’t want to be left spending big bucks on a silly costume from Ricky’s (which by the way only seems to have “suggestive” costumes for the ladies. How convenient.)

I’m brainstorming some home-made costume ideas or ones I can put together for less than $10 or $20.

A tutu + tights + dance shoes + glow in the dark star-shaped stickers = Dancing with the Stars
Pajamas + sneakers = sleep walking
Old torn-up newspapers + tape over jeans and a white tee = breaking news
Shower cap + bath robe + baby doll = baby shower
An old bridesmaid dress + overdone makeup and a sash made of tinfoil = beauty contestant
A pink slip dress + tights = laid-off
Oversized jeans rolled up + suspenders + cardigan + white tape down middle of my frames = Urkel
