Today was a super day for two reasons. One, I crossed paths with Tina Fey at the gym. She was coming. I was going. And it’s not a fancy gym, I promise. Next time I’ll be sure to tell her she’s totally awesome and that I love her.

And two I discovered that I am a “famous Iranian” according to online magazine Persian Mirror. Last week I sat down with Shabnam Rezaei, the founder and editor of Persian Mirror, at a Starbucks in Lower Manhattan. There we chatted about everything from work to growing up in an Iranian family to what I’d take with me on a deserted island.
