She is the author of You’re So Money – Live Rich Even When You’re Not, a nationally acclaimed tell-all for young adults searching for financial independence. She is a highly sought-after speaker and frequent financial contributor to Yahoo! Finance, MoneyWatch, and The Today Show. She currently hosts “Financially Fit” on Yahoo!, a weekly web series, teaching everyday Americans how to boost earnings, save more and spend smart. The online show was recently nominated “Best Educational Series” on the web by the International Academy of Web Television.
You may remember Farnoosh from SoapNet’s 2009 reality series “Bank of Mom and Dad,” where she coached young women struggling with piles of debt. Previously she appeared in REAL SIMPLE. REAL LIFE., a makeover program on TLC, helping busy women better understand and manage their financial challenges.
From 2006 to 2009 Farnoosh helped launch TheStreet.com’s video network. She served as the Web site’s senior financial correspondent and host of Wall Street Confidential with Jim Cramer for TheStreet.com TV. In 2010, she anchored the syndicated financial news segment MoneyWatch for CBS Newspath.
Farnoosh’s other television credits include Good Morning America, The Early Show, CNN, MSNBC, Larry King Live, The View, Live with Regis and Kelly, The Nate Berkus Show, Tyra, Anderson, The Gayle King Show and Fox News. (She was also sort of on The Daily Show.)

Farnoosh began her career as a researcher and reporter for Money Magazine during and after college. Following that, she headed to NY1 News, where she became the station’s business producer and, eventually, on-air reporter. She was also a small business and personal finance columnist for AM New York from 2004 to 2008.
Farnoosh attended Pennsylvania State University, graduating as a Schreyer Honors scholar in finance and international business. She also holds an M.S. in journalism from Columbia University.
She lives in Brooklyn, happily stretching her dollars.
